This week has seen a first for the Strachan Football Foundation we now have our very first international player , Junior Boyaback started with SFF in back in July 2013 and had three season within the Foundation and has won an international call up to the Cameroon Under 20’s squad and plays today in the Under 20’s African Nations qualification game against Libya. Junior has been an integral part of SFF recent success and was in the starting 11 for the ECFA National Premier Cup Final victory in 2015 and was also part of the under 21 championship winning squad in 2015.
Junior is a skilful player who can operate at left full back or left wing, he has many strengths is committed in the tackle and is exciting when he is 1 v 1 against a defender, has good pace and has good left footed delivery.
We are very proud of Junior and wish him the best of luck in todays game and for the rest of the qualification process. We will keep you updated on Junior’s progress.
Director Dan Elliott caught up with Junior whilst in training camp in Cameroon Junior said ” I am very proud to be representing my country i hope to do my family and Strachan Football Foundation proud, I would have not be able to achieve an international call-up without the hard work of the staff within Strachan Football Foundation they have taught me a lot which I hope it will help me cement a place in the Under 20’s squad and help me achieve my dream of being a professional footballer “.
